Pete Burns wins £1million payout

Gobby gender bender Pete Burns’ bank account is set to be severely bolstered after he was awarded a whopping £1m in compensation for botched cosmetic surgery.
The former Dead or Alive singer and Celebrity Big Brother star was not tested for potential side-effects when surgeon Dr Maurizio Viel pumped his lips full of a collagen filler named ‘Outline'.
As a result he was left with a trout pout which makes actress Leslie Ash look a bit like Ziggy Lichman. At one point the damage to Pete's lips looked to be so bad that doctors feared they would have to amputate them.
“It has taken away my life and my career,” the star said. “I was suicidal.” The blistering on his lips following the op, which took place at The London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery, was so severe that at one point Pete was left unable to eat, drink or even speak. Perish the thought.
The star is set to receive his wad of cash when the case is finally settled in March next year. That should keep him in gorilla-skin coats for a good few years…
